Recycle and Regeneration Lithium-ion Battery

By June 15, 2024Research

In order to reduce the environmental impact and re-use the raw materials (ex: lithium, cobalt, nickel and graphite), recycle and regeneration of Li-ion batteries need to be performed.

In this research group, we will recycle the black mass from waste batteries to get the metals such as lithium, cobalt, and nickel.

While the goal of regeneration process is to restore the battery material to state where the battery can be directly reused in the new batteries.
