Collaborating Research in Exploring All Solid State Battery at Technische Universität Braunschweig – Germany

By November 18, 2024Updates

Han-Pin Hsieh or Hank is one of our master student went to Technische Universität Braunschweig – Germany on September 2024 and stay for one week. During his visit, he learned about how pressure will affect the All Solid State Battery (ASSB). Not only that, he also investigate the effect of different anode material for ASSB such as lithium foil on stainless steel, lithium foil on copper foil, silicon on stainless steel and silicon on copper foil. Furthermore, He also studied about Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD). By using PVD, we can deposit the material on the current collector and control the thickness of the deposition.

Big thanks to our collaborator at Technische Universität Braunschweig – Germany for welcoming our member and give great insight to develop the ASSB. We are excited to see the outcomes of this collaboration and look forward for more opportunities to work together in the future!
